5 Tips to Help You Raise Your Vibrations
In everything we do we create energy or vibrations. If what we do or think is negative then we give off negative vibrations or low energy levels. But if we are a source of positive thinking our vibrations will be positively charged. Changing your vibration from negative to positive is one of the best ways of living. If you walk around as if you have unbearable burdens, you will unconsciously affect everyone around you. If you have the tendency to think negatively most of the time, people will not like to be in your company, that is, unless they too have similar outlook on life. Generally, people love being around positive people who makes them forgets about their worries. No one wants to be around a pessimist.
How can you give off positive vibrations in the face of so many challenges? I am sure this may be the first thought that comes to mind if you are currently experiencing some very difficult situation.
Nevertheless, I want to say to you, yes, life can be hard at times: some times to the point where you feel like giving up. You look around and it seems like everyone is doing well, except you. This might make you feel bitter and angry. Wondering why you of all persons on the earth? However, until you take the time to know, you will never realize your challenges are not much different from the next person’s challenges. What makes them appear as if everything is good with them is that they deal with things positively.
1. Practice Mindfulness
One of the key steps in giving off positive vibration is by thinking positively. There are so many challenges in life. We all face challenges in life. As long as we live we will all have some challenge: however, the way in which we respond to these challenges is what really matters.
There are days when the pressures of life come on and we feel like giving up. Sometimes we flip into a victim mode and feel like a victim of circumstances. Frequent hardships can lead us to start thinking and saying negative things until it reaches to a point where we become chronically unhappy and depressed.
However, things do not have to be this way if you shift your way of thinking. You can increase your positive vibration by stopping negative thoughts in their tracts as soon as you become aware that you are saying, thinking or doing something negative. After a while, you will be more in control of your thoughts and better able to maintain a positive mindset.
2. Be Thankful
One way in which you can change the negative thoughts and actions you have is by being thankful for the good things in your life. So, instead of focusing on what is lacking or going wrong in your life you express gratitude for what you have while taking steps to improve your life.
Practice gratitude regularly so that it becomes a habit. One of the best times to express gratitude is at the start of your day. A positive mindset sets the tone for the day and will help you view your circumstances in a positive light.
As the late Bob Marley says ” Life is one big road with lots of signs. So when you are riding through the ruts, don’t complicate your wind. Flee from hate, mischief and jealousy. Don’t bury your thoughts, put your vision to reality. Wake up and live!”
3. Be Kind to Others
Sometimes, it is so easy for us to forget to be kind. This is especially so when we are facing difficult times. In these moments, we tend to want to take out our frustrations on those around us. However, today, I urge you to take the opportunity to practice random acts of kindness whenever you see the need to do so.
You do not have to give people money to make them feel good. There are other ways of helping others including helping an elderly person pass the street, helping someone do something, or simply giving some good advice about something.
When we are kind to others, we feel good about ourselves and we make them feel good too. This then creates an atmosphere of positive vibration to everyone in the environment.
4. Laugh and Smile More Often
Smile, even when you think there is nothing to smile. Laughter according to research, has a positive effect on your health, hence another reason for laughing. You can try seeing the funny sides of things too. There is nothing more enlightening than laughing at one’s self.
Each day begin with a smile in the mirror at yourself and tell yourself that regardless to what comes my way today I am determined to engage in laughter and to smile.
As you go along your merry way, don’t be afraid to smile at those you meet. While some might look at you strangely, most people will respond by smiling back at you, thus creating more positive vibrations around you.
5. Engage in Some Form of Physical Activity
Sometimes we are so busy working that we forget to have a little fun. After working all day and week in a stressful environment, we ready do need a break. Moreover, even for those of us who are not working, it is critical that we move. Staying in one place doing nothing or overworking will result in more stress and eventually cause you to become overwhelmed.
If you have money and have not taken a vacation, for a long time, you might want to consider doing so. A change of environment does wonders for the mind and body.
